Open Water Program

Learning to dive is fun & easy! 
We believe in teaching at an easy pace with a lot of individual attention using only the best equipment. Our internationally-recognized program includes pool dives, classroom sessions, open water dives and certification card. Diving is a great family activity!

Our program makes diving as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1: Study Academic Materials at Home.
Start your adventure with our top-rated home study program. At your convenience, and in the comfort of your own home, you review the text, watch a video and complete a simple study guide.

Step 2: Complete Academic Review & Pool Sessions.
After your academic and equipment review session, you'll start practicing skills in our state-of-the-art saline pool to become comfortable and proficient under the guidance of a professional instructor.

Step 3: Complete Open Water Certification Dives.
Let's go diving! You'll join your instructor for two exciting days of scuba diving. There you will apply all the knowledge and skills from steps 1 and 2. You can make your dives locally or join a scheduled trip to a diving destination. A referral can also be arranged if you have a vacation trip planned.

Schedule
A new classes start twice per month. Classes are scheduled on Monday & Tuesday evenings (pool session on Tues.) or Wednesday & Thursday evenings (pool session on Thurs.) Open water dives take place on weekends. Program includes 6 open water dives. 

Private & Accelerated Courses
Private classes can be arranged to accommodate your schedule. Class includes one-on-one instruction and can be taken at an easy or accelerated pace. Semi-private classes are also available.

Refresher Course
Feeling a little rusty and want to get back in the water? Our refresher courses are offered on a private basis tailored to your needs. Proof of certification is required. 

Juniors & Kids
Our certification program is also available for juniors and a Scuba Rangers program provides a scuba experience for kids ages 8-12. Call the shop for more details.
